2013 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Jean Pierre Wimille Limited Edition

Bugatti will be introducing the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Legend Jean-Pierre Wimille special edition next month during the Monterey Auto Week in California.
It's a bit tricky to keep up with the endless string of special edition Veyrons and now it's even more difficult as Bugatti has prepared another exclusive Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. Limited to three units, the Legend Jean-Pierre Wimille special edition honors the driver who triumphed at 24 Hours of Le Mans for Bugatti in 1937 co-driving a 57G Tank with Robert Benoist. He also won in 1939 while co-driving a 57C Tank with Pierre Veyron.
As a reference to the 57G from 1937 Le Mans, this Grand Vitesse has a blue clear-coated carbon fiber finish with a light Wimille Bleu paint job. The interior cabin is home to several details echoing some characteristics of classic models driven by these important names.
The Legend Jean-Pierre Wimille special edition will make its public debut at the Monterey Auto Week in California next month. It will be showcased on August 16 at The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering and two days later at The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
The car is part of a six-model "Legend" lineup which will pay homage to the company's most important names. All six of them will be based on the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse which inWorld Record Car Edition guise is the fastest convertible ever made, managing to hit a top speed of 254.04 mph (408.84 km/h).
