The Vauxhall New Insignia Sports Tourer brings you superb technology along with a power, ride and handling package that will enhance every aspect of your driving experience. Find out more about outstanding driving dynamics and technology innovations.

DIESEL ENGINES

The 2.0 CDTI diesel engine is ultra-clean and quiet while delivering an invigorating 103kW (140hp). For more power, choose the 2.0 CDTI 120 kW (163 hp) or the outstanding 2.0 BiTurbo CDTI with 143kW (195hp). This tops a range that starts at 81kW (110hp) and also comprises 88kW (120hp) and 96 kW (130hp) engines.

PETROL ENGINES

Our new-generation, super-clean 1.6 SIDI Turbo provides 125kW (170hp), and if that isn’t enough, its big brother 2.0 SIDI Turbo will deliver 186 kW (250hp) and 400Nm torque. Both provide ample power while cutting consumption and emissions. You can also choose from the 1.8-litre or the 1.4-litre Turbo, which is already certified for Euro 6.

ECOFLEX

The Insignia Sports Tourer ECOFLEX 2.0 CDTI engines with start/stop technology deliver 103kW (140hp) and 88 kW (120hp) respectively, with a combined consumption of only 3.7 litres, cutting CO2 emissions to just 99g/km.

TRANSMISSIONS

All Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer transmissions are 6-speed. The automatic transmissions feature ActiveSelect® for sequential shifting, while the 6-speed manual transmissions are optimised for reduced friction and shift precisions. All the transmissions make driving more relaxed, economical and enjoyable.

FLEXRIDE CHASSIS

Choose an Insignia with FlexRide and driving can be changed to match your mood. Apart from normal mode, you can choose sport for a dynamic drive or tour for a more relaxed set-up. In extreme conditions, the FlexRide system automatically applies continuous damping control (CDC) with advanced braking and traction systems, maximising active safety.

PASSIVE SAFETY

High-tensile steels, rigidity, deformability, crash boxes and impact load-paths – they’re all designed to create one of the strongest safety structures on the market. Inside, the Insignia’s front airbags are dual-powered to avoid injuries caused by fast inflation.
No wonder the Insignia has an NCAP 5-star rating, the highest European recognition of passive safety.

ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE

Our touch-operated electric parking brake offers you more parking security for less effort. In combination with Hill Start Assist and Hill Hold – both of which prevent the car rolling backwards when you stop on a slope – it gets you moving smoothly and effortlessly, for increased comfort and safety.
