Lancia Appia Zagato GTE (3rd series), year 1961. Colour Dark Grey with red Leather interior. This very exclusive and ultra-rare (only 134 produced of this type) Zagato was originally sold in the USA. In the year 1998 the car was sold to Pisa, Italy and in 2015 the car was imported to the Netherlands. This Lancia Appia is in beautiful original condition. The only partial restoration has been a beautiful new paint job in the past. The car drives superbly! Invoices of recent mechanical service and repairs are available as is a ‘heritage’ document. According to this document the engine has matching numbers. The car is fitted with a Nardi steering wheel (original steering wheel is included), and a Tripmaster. These compact and very light Zagato’s were successful in many rallies in the 1950ies and 1960ies. A rare and highly desirable machine!
