PIECHA lends AMG versions an even more sporty touch

PIECHA Design from the German town Rottweil is considered to be one of the more upscale companies when it comes to enhancing Mercedes-Benz models and has been so for more than 30 years. With the optional AMG styling package or as a 476 hp AMG C 63, the latest C-Class Estate is a very sporty car to begin with. But CEO Marcus Piecha skilfully builds upon these design foundations and fills the stylish gaps.
The PIECHA Design aerodynamics package adds some masculinity to the rather soft W205 body contours, but without overdoing it. An air-dam lip and a roof-edge spoiler suffice to make it appear more assertive. Upon request, the C 63 also gets “front cup wings”. All components are made in Germany. Thanks to the carbon-GFRP-sandwich design, lightness and stability go hand-in-hand.
PIECHA MP1 Monoblock wheels in 19“ and PIECHA MP5 LXM wheels in 20“ round off the successful package. Both alloy-wheel designs are available in either pale-metallic or satin-black to gear them to your car’s paintwork and look. After all, PIECHA’s motto is TAILOR-MADE PERFORMANCE – and not only in terms of looks.
For the AMG C 63, the company has a special and utterly powerful performance module. 476 hp / 350 kW in the production car are turned into 612 hp / 450 kW and maximum torque is raised to no less than 840 Nm. The result is an acceleration from naught to 100kph in 3.8 seconds, up from 4.1. And the extensive warranty is equally impressive. Not the usual restrictions in the small print here. And it is all connected to the original plugs in a non-destructive fashion. Upon request, high-quality coilovers are also available. For the more civil versions of the C-class, conventional lowering suspension springs and wheel spacers are also available. And even without an upgrade, the power converter exclusively developed by PIECHA also adds dynamism by providing a more direct effect when pressing the pedal to the metal. Incidentally, when getting out, the car will still be “circling on the black top” with the optional striking PIECHA 4-LED sill spots for each side!
