Three engine options, five trim levels and six colour options to choose from for the upcoming Terrano.

Only a few days back, Nissan finally unveiled its upcoming compact crossover – the Terrano. Since the commercial launch is still a few weeks away, Nissan is holding its cards close to its chest and is staying mum on the official pricing and availability. However, we have managed to get our hands on the scheduled variant line-up for the Terrano.

Since the Terrano is based on the Renault Duster, it uses the same engines as well and therefore you’ll have three engine options to choose from – a 1.6-litre petrol engine that produces 104 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque; and two options for the 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine that produce 85 PS / 200 Nm and 110 PS / 248 PS respectively. The Terrano will have five trim levels to choose from – XE, XL, XL+, XV and XV Premium.

The engine-wise variant line-up is as follows:

1.6-litre Petrol:
XL
1.5-litre Diesel, 85PS:
XE
XL-D
XL-D+
1.5-litre Diesel, 110PS:
XL-D
XV-D
XV-D Premium

The variant line-up is very similar to what we have seen on the Renault Duster so far. However, the Terrano does miss out on some features like steering mounted controls and a touchscreen infotainment system. When the vehicle goes on sale a few weeks from now, Nissan will offer six exterior colour options for the Terrano – Graphite Black, Pearl White, Blade Silver, Sterling Grey, Fire Red and Bronze Grey.
