As soon as Premium Motorrad displayed it in its showroom, renowned motorcycle designers and experts descended on the Motorworld Region in Stuttgart to inspect the Lotus C-01. Of the first 25 C-01s that have been built, most went to collectors in the Middle East. This, therefore, is currently the only opportunity to acquire a Lotus bike. The C-01's capabilities were proven at the Glemseck 101 festival, where Troy Corser thrashed a 300HP Kawasaki Ninja in the drag race, claiming overall victory of the hallowed event in the process.
